Terms of use

Last updated: 3 November 2026

By using Misaal, you agree to these terms. Questions: misaal.law@gmail.com.

What Misaal is

Misaal is a research tool. It isn’t a law firm, doesn’t give legal advice, and using it doesn’t create a lawyer-client relationship. See the disclaimer.

Verify before you rely on it

You are responsible for your own work. Read the original judgment before you cite it, and confirm that it’s still good law. Misaal can have errors and gaps, and “verified” or “not found” results can be wrong.

Acceptable use

Don’t misuse the service: no attempts to break it, no bulk scraping, and no use that overloads it or breaks the law. We may limit or block use that harms the service for others.

Judgments and our work

Judgments belong to the public record. Misaal’s software, design, indexing and arrangement are ours.

An early product

Misaal is provided as it is, while we’re still building it. Features and coverage can change or stop, and the service can be unavailable. Keep backups of your matters, since they live only in your browser.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, Misaal isn’t liable for any loss arising from your use of the service, including loss from relying on its results without checking them.

Changes and governing law

We may update these terms by changing this page. These terms are governed by the laws of India.
